After developing a "Game" application for OpenSynaps in virtual reality and mobile, and given its success, we decided to create a new version in the form of a web and mobile platform, with a more professional design.
This new platform aims to democratize psychological health by offering hypnotherapy, sophrology and more, fully personalized programs thanks to the use of artificial intelligence.
The platform also integrates a psychological AI that allows you to chat and receive personalized advice at any time.
A personal diary allows users to record their daily feelings. Thanks to personalized machine learning, the user has access to a comprehensive report including trends, correlations and even predictions. Personal data is cross-referenced with physical data such as sunshine levels, rainfall and temperature.
Finally, the platform offers a social dimension with private messaging and a forum. The challenge for this social component was to guarantee content and interaction from the outset. To achieve this, virtual users driven by artificial intelligence were used to create a first wave of interactions, encouraging real users to participate.
Particular attention has been paid to design and user experience. The platform can be used with a single click, without registering or logging in, maximizing retention during marketing campaigns.
Marketing
To launch the app, we ran a paid advertising campaign on Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, alongside an organic campaign including webinars and blog posts on relevant keywords.
To reinforce this organic campaign, we published partner articles on external blogs, enhancing the authority of OpenSynaps.
An affiliate marketing campaign and competitions also helped attract an interesting customer base in the early days.
Technology
The entire client side was developed using Angular and Ionic. Thanks to Cordova and Capacitor, it was easy to publish applications for Windows, iOS and Android. The web part is in PWA (Progressive Web Apps) format.
For the server, we opted for Laravel in PHP for its flexibility. The messaging and artificial intelligence modules were built as microservices with Node.js to ensure real-time communication.
Machine learning and AI algorithms are run locally as Python scripts. Thanks to the use of virtual machines and microservices, we have been able to keep costs and performance under control, maximizing long-term profitability.
Finally, the showcase site was built using WordPress to facilitate organic marketing and the use of freelancers to write articles.
